Washing Instruction for DTF Transfers
To wash DTF (Direct-to-Film) printed garments, turn the item inside out and wash in cold
water on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and high heat,
and either air-dry or tumble dry on a low setting. Do not iron the print directly.
Before Washing
Wait before washing: Allow the print to set for 24 to 48 hours after it has been applied before the first wash.
Washing Instructions
- Turn inside out: Wash the garment inside out to protect the print from friction.
- Use cold water: Always use cold or cool water, as hot water can damage the print and
adhesive. - Use a gentle cycle: Select a gentle or delicate wash cycle to prevent cracking and peeling.
- Use mild detergent: Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can weaken the print's
adhesion. - Avoid ironing the print: If you need to iron the garment, turn it inside out and avoid ironing the design area directly.
Drying Instructions
- Air dry: The best method is to hang the garment to air dry.
- Tumble dry low: If using a dryer, use a low heat setting.
- Avoid high heat: High heat can break down the adhesive and damage the print.
